JACOB PETERSEN
Principal
Jacob Petersen recently completed work on Discovery Green, a 12-acre ($52M) park in downtown Houston which opened with great fanfare in April. He is currently leading the design of the South Waterfront Neighborhood Park, 2-acre urban park in downtown Portland, and Los Angeles State Historic Park, a 32-acre urban park in downtown LA. Jacob is also overseeing the final construction of Parkview West, a 2-acre urban park in downtown Chicago, and 300 Spear Street, an iconic high-rise residential project (with Arquitectonica) in downtown San Francisco. Jacob recently completed Construction Documentation for San Diego County Administration Center Waterfront Park (the first major open space on San Diego's downtown bayfront), the firm's park and open space master plans for downtown San Diego and Dallas, and a Framework Plan for 320-acre Grant Park in Chicago, one of the most significant historic parks in North America.
