Hargreaves Associates are the landscape architects and collaborating master planners for ExxonMobil’s new office complex that will be developed in north Houston, Texas. The campus has been designed to high standards of energy efficiency and environmental stewardship, and particularly capitalizes on the possibilities of creating indoor and outdoor places that will foster interaction and collaboration amongst employees in their daily work, as well as support their health and well-being.
Hargreaves Associates is part of a team that includes Pickard Chilton as Design Architects, PDR as Program Manager and Interior Architect, and Gensler as Record and Interior Architect. The complex, which is comprised of multiple low-rise buildings, is designed with sustainability and site restoration as key features of the plan for this wooded site. Construction and ongoing operations will create thousands of jobs, substantial state and local taxes and significant benefits to the Texas and Houston-area economy.
