The Presidential Center Park represents a major reclamation of land formerly used for industrial purposes and cutoff from the city by freeway and cutting off access from the city to the river. The redevelopment of this 32 acre site represents a major reclamation of the area for public use, and has been an instrumental part of the revitalization of the eastern end of downtown Little Rock. The energy of the developing grids of Little Rock and North Little Rock here overlay to create the connective geometries of the new waterfront park.
