Astir Palace Hotel

The Astir Palace Resort Hotel is luxury resort located on the southern coast of Athens, Greece with three 1950’s era modern hotels situated on the cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea. In the Fall of 2003, the hotel embarked on an ambitious plan to upgrade and modernize the grounds and facilities in preparation for the 2004 Summer Olympics. Hargreaves Associates was asked to evaluate the property and to identify opportunities for enhancements. Workshops with the Client resulted in proposed improvements for the entry and arrival experience to each of the hotels, a shared open space between two of the hotels and a new image for the waterfront promenade.
