Mary Lydecker

Mary Lydecker has led a range of projects with Hargreaves Jones from master planning to site design and implementation, with a focus on active urban public parks and waterfront projects. She led design of The Commons in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a downtown public park in an emerging mixed-use district adjacent to the new MSFA/Vikings Stadium; the Trinity River Promenade in Fort Worth, Texas, an integrated flood control, ecosystem services, and recreation project coordinated with the USACE; and the Richmond Riverfront Plan & T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge in Richmond, Virginia, a shared-use path that has connected communities across the James River through the adaptive re-use of an historic dam structure. She served as project manager for the Denver Union Station Redevelopment in Colorado and the MIT East Campus /Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Ms. Lydecker holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College. She is a registered landscape architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional.
