Downtown Dallas Parks Master Plan
Dallas, TX

The plan identifies key downtown sites for transformation into parks and the resultant opportunities for development and urban design initiatives.

Now almost fully realized, the plan establishes a network of parks, largely replacing surface parking lots, and connective green corridors that make downtown Dallas more attractive for residents, visitors, and businesses.  Downtown’s residential population has increased from the low hundreds to over 14,000, and the amenities provided by these parks has been critical to its economic health and livability, now ranking it favorably amongst its peer cities in parks per resident.
